The 2008 Arts and Crafts Route
Only one week before you can sample the Laurentians’ creative spirits
Val-David, August 1st 2008 -
Signature Laurentides is proud to present the Laurentian region's 4th annual arts and crafts route (Route des métiers d’art).
The event will take place during the two weekends of August 8–10 and August 15–17 from 10am to 5pm.
Discover this educational and fascinating cultural journey that takes visitors throughout the Laurentides regional county municipality. Open houses will be held at the workshops of participating artisans, at local boutiques, and demonstrations of arts and crafts creation at Signature Laurentides, in Val-David:

The goal of the activities is to introduce the public to the human aspect of the works and to let them see arts and crafts creation from behind the scenes, by visiting the artisans' workshops.
The artisans' workshops will be easy to recognize thanks to a highly visible image that will be displayed on signs throughout the region, along the route, and inside the brochure.
Signature Laurentides, the Conseil des métiers d’art du Québec, the CLD des Laurentides, the Mont-Tremblant Tourism Office, and the Municipality of Val-David are happy to support this unique and authentic cultural event.
